About Coach

I started playing hockey in elementary school and fell in love, I played throughout high school and in to my 20's. I picked up some unhealthy habits along the way. At 28 I decided it was time to make some changes, I quit drinking, short time later I quit smoking. After that it was a progression, I started going to the gym, then got a personal trainer, then I drove by a Crossfit gym. I made an appointment for an intro, cancelled that appointment because that looked way to intense for me. A year later I actually followed through with it, I was hooked. In 2014 I was fortunate enough to make our regional team, definitely the highlight of my Crossfit journey to this point. In 2016 we moved from CA to Boise where I joined BCF. A short time later Andy asked if I wanted to start coaching and the rest is history.

Turning Point

My turning point is easy, the day I decided I was going to get sober. On April 20th 2006 I made a decision that changed my entire life. I have been able to stay sober for the last 15 years, without that my life would look completely different today.

Motivation & Passion

Like most I love the community, I love watching the progress that people make over time. I am passionate about nutrition and what that can to help people meet their goals. Oh and the details, what little adjustments can we make to make your movements just a little better...
