When did you first start CrossFit?
Back in the early Asylum days when I wasn’t sure if the power would still be on when I got there.

Do you remember your first class at Boise CrossFit? What was it like?

What sort of changes have you seen in your body, health and fitness since starting CrossFit at BCF?
There has been so many, but the most significant one would be when I had my son. I had complications during delivery. After a six day hospital stay and four blood transfusions I was left physically and mentally defeated. The doctor told me it would be six to eight months before I felt “normal” and got any real strength back. Six weeks later I did a dead hang pull-up on my first try. CrossFit made me strong; mentally even more so than physically. I wouldn’t go as far as saying CrossFit saved my life….but who’s to say it didn’t.
What are some of your favorite BCF moments?
The lifelong friends I have made. Plus Andy is like the brother I never wanted.
What are your CrossFit goals?
Just to keep going
Any advice for someone just starting out?
It’s so hard but it’s so worth it. Don’t quit!

The good looking fast guy at the gym is my husband.
